5D MK II Video – Lake Chautauqua

Lake Chautauqua

I was at the UPAA convention in western New York last week and the other University Photographers kept asking me about shooting video with the 5dmkII. Rather than explain it to them I thought I would just shoot a video of one of our day trips to show how easy it was. I didn’t have any sticks with me, so you’ll have to forgive the shakiness, but I love having the ability to make a split second decision and switch over from shooting stills to shooting HD video. It was shot with a 15mm Fish, 70-200 2.8 and the 16-35 II, while audio was captured with a Sony ECM-MS907 microphone mounted on the hot shoe of the camera.

Great stuff Jaren. Thanks for sharing. Does the 5Dmk2 have any auto sensor cleaning operation?
