  1. Great stuff Chris. I haven’t looked at my stuff yet but I already know you kicked my ass. Not that this is a competition or anything…

question for the group: any lady photogs out there that have shot in hs locker rooms before games? I have always assumed that was an off limits zone. But just wondering.

  2. It’s kind of an ask-first thing here in Utah. Most times it’s not a problem. But if a team turns you down and won’t let you in, they will lose the game. It’s the locker room curse. That’s what happened to Timpview last night.

But to clarify, you don’t go in when people are getting dressed. You go in just before the game, when the team re-enters the locker room for the coach’s pre-game speech. I’ve worked boys and girls locker rooms this way, but only after clearing it with the coaches

  3. Thanks Maegan. Like Trent said, most coaches will be fine with it. I have had pretty good luck talking to the coach during the pregame warm ups and explaining what I am looking to do. It was even easier with Stansbury because it was their first game ever so I told the coach I wanted to document the team getting ready for their 1st game.
