The Fall semester began on Monday down here at BYU which means another First Day of Class photo essay. This time around we wanted to experience the first day in a Freshman Biology class. I feel so old.

Nice slideshow. A lot of great images, plus that first frame was so cool. And good subject doing the talking. An interesting guy.
Why were two of the frames near the end in black and white? Just curious.
Trent, thanks for the comments. Regarding the opening shot, it is actually a sad commentary on the current state of photography, everybody thinks it was done in photoshop. Most people are so jaded when it comes to cool images, they’ve been so conditioned to disbelieve everything. But what do I know, I’m the guy who stares at the sun through several thousands of dollars of glass.
As to the B/W images, we just like how they looked B/W, but it doesn’t really jive with the rest of the show. I’m sure that can be explained by staring at the sun also.
