- Garry that’s one thing I see as a positive in all this. Though I’m not getting a day rate, it does at least open a few new doors to me that otherwise might not open. Even at the high school level of sports they require a UHSAA credential (different scenario, but the restricted access idea is the same) While I’m not banking on the idea of spec shooting as being my largest source of income, at least for me right now I see it as a step forward.

Granted great photos may be had at events without such, but getting into the inner circle where the photos are is out. There’s also the cost of events, there are times one can’t afford the cost. Dear Utah Photogs- Thank you for all the fun times on the sidelines and all the other random places we’ve chatted while on assignment. Those of you I have met are wonderful people and are all incredibly talented! Those of you I have never met these last five years (they don’t let us photogs up here out of Cache Valley that often), I assume you are all also wonderful people and I know you are all incredibly talented!
