   Reading about Max Hall’s comments re: U of U after the game yesterday. I gotta say that despite some questionable calls, it was a good game, but it is so disappointing to see BYU be such poor sports even in winning.

   I think your Max Hall shot is the best one I saw. In color, though. Saw it in the Trib and on the Trib’s website credited to AP.

   You’re not the first to say that you like the color better, Trent. I felt compelled to change it back to color on my blog after a handful of friends said they like the color better.

   I agree with Max Hall. I went to a Utah game last year and had to put up
   with chants of F – U (and they weren’t playing Florida) while the whole section waved a
   two hand middle finger salute and in front of us one girl was sitting on
   another girls lap kissing her over and over. After seeing some boys grope
   some girls and put their hands where they shouldn’t unless they want to be charged with assault, we moved again. This was going on all over the student section. After the third move to the
   UCLA fans section they were beating them by 40-50 points and the Utah fans were still taunting them. Then I found out a brave, drunk, male Utah fan sought out a lone female wearing a UCLA jersey, put her in a head-lock and yelled why in the F…n hell are you wearing a UCLA jersey.
   Then he pushed her away. The other brave Ute fans who witnessed this stood there, looking at this fine upstanding Ute fan roughing up this girl, and did nothing. Not so much as a “hey, that is probably a little over the
   top,” comment.
   After leaving the game we were shocked to see an older Ute
   fan with a Ute shirt on urinating in public right in the parking lot.

   I have heard it said that Max Hall’s comments took away from some good
   performances and a good game. I am glad he said what needs to be said.

   I think you need to have your head examined if you don’t agree. After the
   game I watched at Rice-Ecless last year I think, there should have been a
   bunch of arrests made. Those students need to get some help. I think they
   need a break from football. You want to talk football but not these actions!
   I think it is more important to talk about what would make a group of people
   act like that? I hope things change, really hope they change if you know
   what I mean.

   Do you think Micheal Vic shouldn’t have been put in Jail because that took
   away from the Game. Oooo! Wouldn’t want to take away from a game.
