Just got back from a fantastic week spent in Washington D.C.! Was able to spend some quality time with great people and see the nation’s capitol for the first time. It was also great weather pretty much the entire week which was particularly nice considering we left behind snow in Utah. Lately the good photographs have been few and far between for me but going to a new place was very refreshing. I feel like I made quite a few good pictures during the trip. Here is one from the first full day in D.C.. Mostly did the tourist thing and usually was more interested in what the other tourists were doing. Yeah Balto/Washington region! I think it’s funny that everyone out here (Utah) wants to go to DC when I tell them I am from Maryland. As a kid growing up in Baltimore, taking the 35-40 drive down there was a bi-annual thing, if not more.
It’s a beautiful area but I can see how living so close to the area can make it seem normal.
