The 2010 State Champions in Utah Photojournalism were announced and prestigious trophies were handed out at the FUNPA meeting tonight. As the photographs played across the screen there were performances by Green Day, Muse, The Smiths, and Macho Man Randy Savage. If you missed the big event, here’s a little YouTube goodness. When the music goes quiet, pull out an old Smiths cassette and push play on Meat is Murder for full sonic effect.

Thanks to Chris and Trent and everyone else involved for the fun FUNPA get-together last night. Was great to see the terrific work being done, and see all of you. And the cool trophies were an unexpected bit of fun. Can’t wait till my Macho Man album gets here!

Everyone’s bugging me about what FUNPA stands for. I have no idea. Hopefully it isn’t what the UNPA bigwigs are worried that it is.
