I talked my way on to the cat walk at the Jazz game against Sacramento to shoot crowd shots for a story in a series about the popularity of basketball. It’s so much fun getting up that high.

I am a photojournalist currently interning at the Deseret News. I recently completed an internship with the VII Photo Agency in New York, following several months of freelance work for the Associated Press in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A California native, I earned a B.S. in photojournalism from Boston University. I've worked at the Waterbury, Connecticut, Republican-American and interned at the Newport Daily News in Newport, Rhode Island, the Cox Newspapers Washington Bureau in Washington, D.C. and at the Harvard University News Office. I enjoy meeting people and sharing their stories. I'm interested in leveraging the power of photography to help humanitarian causes and spark social and economic development.   1. Haven’t been up in any catwalks here in Utah…yet. BYU is sensitive on the subject and won’t let anyone up, not even the BYU shooters from what I hear. I’d love to see more of what you made up there, man.
