My first remote camera.

Set up my frist remote camera with much thanks to Jaren Wilkey.

Or I should say, Jaren set up my first remote camera with little help from me.

I arrived a little late for the game after rushing out two other assignments that afternoon and was hoping to use a remote since my canon cable finally arrived over the break. Luckily got some help and got it set up just in time.

Was using our intern issue 30D as the remote and I was surprised at how much it missed, but I guess there is a big difference between 5 and 8 fps. Of the 355 shots fired, only two looked worthwhile.

But can’t wait to try again next chance I get.

thumbs up to you for getting anything sports related with a 30D. the shutter delay on those has almost given me many nervous breakdowns.

  2. I know a guy with a 1D Mark IIN that would let you use his camera in return for borrowing the cable…
