now you see it ……. before you could’nt

We did this a few years back in the Trib (Trent and Chris photos) and I’ve been fascinated with the idea since. Can’t decide if its cool or blah. Clear day pic was made today (1/31) .. inversion pic was made 12/20.

    This is very cool and just the sort of thing that people need to see visualized. last year when I was in China I did some image manipulation, subtracting out the pollution and animated it as a gif here: http://prometheus.med.utah.edu/~bwjones/C1705165967/E20081030162411/Media/Emishan%20pollution.gif

    Perhaps we need more documentation of this sort to illustrate to folks how bad this pollution is in the valley?
