Talking about not wearing a helmet, I slammed into a tree just an hour before taking this image. I wasn’t wearing a helmet this day, so I consider myself very lucky to ride away with only a swollen knee and a bloody face. I was very dazed and bleeding near Red Pine Lodge when I saw this crew walking toward the gondola. I was drawn to the color of their outfits, so I grabbed the camera and began taking their picture.
Moral of this story is always wear a helmet and have your camera near you at all time.
