“A lot of people I guess ask why, and that’s very different for everyone who does it. I think a lot of people get something spiritual out of it. For me, I just basically am always kind of trying to one-up myself and kind of…attack the impossible and, you know, this seems like something that would be pretty hard to do, and kind of in your mind, you’re overcoming something pretty huge just getting over the fact that you can actually put that much on your body and be ok.”
Mindi Kaiser took me on a trip to the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico to watch her do body suspension with Ben Kennedy and Brandon Johnston. They have all been practicing suspension for years and it was a privilege to take part, especially in such beautiful surroundings. Thanks to all involved.
