Description:
The Standard-Examiner is looking for a photographer/videographer to join our team of talented multimedia journalists. We are a 64,000 circulation daily newspaper located in Ogden, Utah. We have a staff of five photographers, two videographers and one intern. The Visuals Department staff has taken a leading role in the production of multimedia and video for documentaries and our online product, while continuing to produce award winning photos for our print edition. Ogden is located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains and is quickly becoming known as an outdoor recreation hub for its three ski resorts, mountain biking trails, two rivers, rock climbing and more. If you love the outdoors this is a great place to be. Outside magazine named Ogden as the number 3 of the best 20 outdoor towns in America to live. Applicants should submit a portfolio of no more than 20 single photos, one photo story and two video or multimedia projects on CD or DVD. Also please submit a cover letter, resume and references to be considered for the position.
