I miss Tri-X

… or maybe I just miss 1987.

Artist Jimmy Lucero works on his new painting “The Crossing” in his basement studio in the Avenues. Shot on digital, but I’d much rather have shot it on Tri-X, and printed on Portriga-Rapid.

Nice photo Scott. I like how you captured him, and his work space.I know Jimmy, and he’s a great guy and good artist as well.

  2. Wow. Love it. The light, the tones, the toning – all comes together with the subject and his habitat.

  3. Dude, Jimmy is the man. Amazing artist and all around nice guy as well.
