  1. Thanks very much Djamila. Yes, four months of following the family and their experiences here led to the story that ran Thursday. Each and every time I returned home from a day with them I was so in awe of their kind and patient care of their kids. They left Afghanistan after a death threat to the father, and now he is glad it happened. The kids are flourishing in the programs they are able to be in here.
