Thanks Bryan. I’m somewhat fascinated by it now, maybe out of fear of one day losing my own eyesight. So if there is a larger story to continue with I just might do it.
Macular degeneration is unfortunately *very* common. 10-15% of us are going to get it and lose vision. Let me know if you’d like to do a followup story with patients, physicians and the scientists who are working to figure out what is going on with the disease.
