authenticating digital photography

Computer Scientist have identified a new method using “digital noise” to authenticate digital photography and identifying composite photographs. It relies on the differences in digital noise in the two (or more) photographs. Here’s a link: http://www.albany.edu/news/26046.php?WT.eml
