  • Erin, and to me one of the coolest things you just mentioned was that while in a situation where you couldn’t have your normal work type camera you still felt compelled to make photos with the tools you have and an outlet to share it. I probably would have crumbled by not being able to make pics like those I’m assisting for but you still found away to make awesome work. Ps. I’m loving Alaska and the beers.   • I don’t care what anyone says. There are bad photographers, snobby photographers, and photographers who enjoy various tools and have fun with it. I don’t think I’d ever be comfortable using Instagram photos in straight up documentary work, although I think portraits are fair game, but in the context of Instagram it’s a shit ton of fun. And you know, I only really follow a few friends but mostly other photographers on Instagram because I still want to see interesting work, not just what someone...
