You know that your Athletic Dept. has had their budget cut way too much when the mascot now has to unclog the toilets.

Signs, signs everywhere there’s signs
What is it with sports fans in Utah lately? Last night thousands of students showed up to the USU-BYU game and did their best to welcome the Cougars to the Spectrum. Many of the students did their homework and had some really creative signs. Unfortunately many did not.To see more photos of the signs, the really good ones and the ones that were a little lacking click here.

Utah State – Utah Football
I have to start off by saying that Scott Winterton and Bob Plumb have to be the some of the nicest photographers around. Tonight because of our lack of gear I was planning on shooting the game tonight with a manual 400. Scott noticed that I had the crappy lens and took it upon himself to call the Deseret News office and have Bob bring an autofocus 400 up to me it before the start of the game without anyone asking. I owe both of you and your paper big time.
Top of Utah Half Marathon
This child seemed as amused as I was watching a fan cheering on runners while he was dressed in nylons, tight shorts and mesh top. And you thought Cache Valley was conservative.
