While I didn’t get to wear a lab coat, I did have to wear a hair and beard net to tour the new Litehouse Foods plant with Jim Matheson the other day.
One of the benefits to being down here by ourselves is that there was nobody else there to snap an embarrassing shot of said hair nets being worn by the media, only Matheson and the plant manager got the pleasure of having their photo taken in said get-up.
Brush fire. Melted newspaper box.
Now that the Roadrunners are defunct, there’s not much in the way of sports to shoot over the summer in St. George. However, Real Salt Lake is hosting a summer soccer camp so… I played around with going super wide and standing right next to the little net during a scrimmage. The more I look at this though, I wish I’d gotten all of the kid’s shadow in the bottom of the frame and less sky.
So many people were taking pictures and video with their phones and point and shoots, I thought it would make an interesting image.
I loved their reactions despite the fact that there’s a eight foot high fence between them and the girl who’s bobbling a pop-up.
Don’t you just love those days when part of your job is to do something like go hike the Subway in Zion National Park?
