long time no post. Drove down to St. George to shoot a portrait of Bryce Clark for a story in the New York Times today about Mitt Romney’s time as a LDS bishop in Boston. Pretty funny because I drove 9 hours and shot for 40 minutes. Bryce was a super nice guy and apparently just made a feature length comedy that is looking to be pretty funny. I’m glad the photo ran in BW in the paper because the colors got a bit funky…You can see the original article here. It’s a great read. Some outtakes on my blog over here.

new website
Hey everybody, long time no post sorry about that. I am still in Utah just doing more freelance video work and personal documentary projects than anything lately. I finally got a website up this week with a bunch of new material up on it. Let me know what you think! www.michaelfriberg.com
hitch hiker portrait
I am no longer at the standard so most of what I have been shooting lately has been more arty and straight up documentary based. I also took the opportunity to return to my first love of big giant pieces of film. This is a portrait of Jack, a hitch hiker I met while he was busking with his guitar downtown. Very nice gentleman.
