I had a really good time going to Holi this weekend (except for the traffic, ugh!). I’m already planning on flying in again next year! I wish they had a celebration as big as this in Texas.

Headed West for the Weekend!
Heyhey!
I’m taking a long weekend starting tomorrow at 6am and flying out to SLC for a few days. It’s been an interesting 9 months living in East Texas and surviving the heat! SLC Bicycle Culture
Heyhey! Long time no post! I’ve just gotten around to going through all my photos from the past year when I remembered my Salt Lake City bicycle culture project that I never got to finish since I was in the midst of working on it right before I moved down to Texas. Here are some of my best frames from the project. I was trying to cover all the aspects of bicycle life in the city from the hipster meet ups, to drinking and biking, street races and bicycle sports. Unfortunately I over photographed one race and I managed to loose those photos in the process of moving, so these ones are from Bike Prom, bike polo, Tour de Brewtah and bike jousting!

How did I forget…

It’s about a father and son who share a passion for soccer. The father had terminal cancer, and he died 4 days after I met him, so Bill and I decided to continue with the story and document the family saying goodbye.
Texting Teacher
I was at the UVU commencement a few weeks ago, and my eye kept getting drawn to the cell phone glow on this professor’s face. It seemed like at least a third of the graduates were texting at any time during the ceremony as well.
