The Wasatch Camera Club will be hosting Dave Black on Thursday October 22nd at 6pm at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Conferencing Center.

Some quick facts of Dave’s Bio:

- A freelance photographer for over 30 years photographing for Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek and Sports Century on ESPN. His list of coverage includes the NFL, Masters, Kentucky Derby, NASCAR and the Olympics including 12 Olympic Games.

The presentation will include:

- Images from his career including the Olympics
- Address lighting including Small Flash, Arena Sport Strobe, and Lightpainting.

- Discussion of some Special Projects including Thoroughbred Horse Racing and the National Geographic’s book “Where Valor Rests Arlington Cemetary”

We are thrilled to have Dave join us for an evening. Some particulars for the event:

- Will be at the SLCC Miller Conference Center in Sandy; a map can be found at our website at www.wasatchcameraclub.com.
- Doors open at 6pm; the presentation to begin at 7pm sharp
- For guests, there is a $10 donation; $5 for students (for Wasatch Camera Club members, the event is free)

We are pleased to present a Photography Workshop in Moab with Master Photographer Tom Till.

The three day workshop is actually three individual workshops each day, exploring some of Tom’s favorite places in and around Moab.  The dates are October 9th – 11th.  Cost is $150 per day/per person.

If you are interested, please RSVP workshops@wasatchcameraclub.com with the day(s) you would like to attend.  Upon receipt of the RSVP, you will receive an eBill where you can pay the fees with a credit card.

There is limited availability left, so RSVP soon.  We will not accept RSVP’s after Monday, October 5th.

Please join us on Thursday, September 17th at 7pm at the Columbus Center in South Salt Lake as we will be joined by Viviann Rose, a Moab artist specializing in hand painting of black and white photographs.
