Since 2012 started I’ve been working on a personal project following the Red Rocks Gymnastics team at the University of Utah through their 2012 season. Photographing them through their practice, trainings, physical therapy and meets. Today I launched the website for the project at www.thegymnasticsproject.com

“My goal in photography is to capture the movement of sports. The Gymnastics Project focuses on the gymnastics sport while telling the story of the Red Rocks team and their dedication to the sport. Heyhey! Long time no post! I’ve just gotten around to going through all my photos from the past year when I remembered my Salt Lake City bicycle culture project that I never got to finish since I was in the midst of working on it right before I moved down to Texas. Here are some of my best frames from the project. I was trying to cover all the aspects of bicycle life in the city from the hipster meet ups, to drinking and biking, street races and bicycle sports. Unfortunately I over photographed one race and I managed to loose those photos in the process of moving, so these ones are from Bike Prom, bike polo, Tour de Brewtah and bike jousting!
