I’ve got a series of images that I’ll be posting as I go through all of the images from the trip to Cuba. The first post was here with six images that sorta, kinda summarized the trip, though in no way could they reflect everything we did and saw. The trip was overwhelming in many respects, so I am going to try and chunk the trip down some. A post on Introduction and background is here.
Cuba is changing rapidly folks. I’ve never been anywhere like this in the world, and if you can… I’d suggest getting there before it turns into a Europe’ified or Americanized place not too much different from other places in the world.
Was in San Francisco last weekend for a gig, some consulting and a party, but when arriving at Moffett Field, I was surprised to see Hangar One without its skin. Apparently the skin had to be removed for asbestos and PCB leaching, but restoration has hit a snag and the future of Hangar One is in doubt.
While there, I tried to get a picture from 2013 to compare with photos that my Grandfather took in 1942. The animated gif above is an example of 1942/2013.
